Emphysema

Emphysema is a form of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) that causes damage to the tiny air sacs (alveoli) in your lungs, making it increasingly difficult to breathe. Symptoms, which often appear late in the disease, include chronic shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing, and chest tightness.
